Position: Cloud Engineer
Location: Irving TX
Duration: 6+ months

Candidate needs to be someone who has run into the problems of implementing a cloud infrastructure that is NOT on-premise

Must be capable of working with multiple managed service providers to provide guidance on the deployment of virtual machines using the templates this candidate created and acting as an escalation point for issues involving operational support of the cloud hosting environments.
Amazon Web Services or other Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) public cloud provider experience required
Systems Administration experience required
Microsoft Windows Server certification preferred o Red Hat Enterprise Linux server certification preferred
Automation skills such as PowerShell for Windows and/or shell scripting for Red Hat Linux

Expert ability to work both directly with customers/end-users and with other operationally relevant internal teams
Expert ability to work independently and manage time
Expert mentoring skills necessary to provide support and constructive performance feedback
Expert ability to identify, interpret and evaluate system and network requirements
Expert knowledge of computer hardware and software as it related to LAN/WAN
