SQL Developer with Postgres Expert- Dallas TX

Position: SQL Developer with Postgres Expert

Location: Dallas TX

Duration: 6 months

 

Responsible for converting our MS Sql schema to a Postgres database compliant schema and then migrating the data to the converted database. Modify the SQL statements for data access in our applications to Postgres from MS SQL. Detailed SQL knowledge is required as some the queries are complicated.

Required in-depth knowledge of:

- MS SQL

- Postgres SQL

- Knowledge of C# and Java are a plus, but not required

- Experience with SQL testing tools to verify query compatibility

- 5 years experience with database systems including MySQL and MS SQL

- Ability to work independently
