Required Skills/Experience (Skills that the successful candidate(s) must have) HR/Payroll - Information Resources seeks to hire a highly motivated and dedicated professional (contractor) to join its upgrade project team. The candidate must demonstrate an understanding of the importance of personal accountability and commitment to excellence. The candidate must be a team player with strong interpersonal skills and assertiveness. Must be able to render good business decisions, be well-organized, able to work with minimal supervision, detail oriented, able to address multiple assignments and meet deadlines. Extensive knowledge and experience in PeopleSoft HCM Base Benefits, Benefits Administration, Time and Labor and Payroll Business Processes required. The candidate must have at least 5 years of PeopleSoft HCM implementation and/or functional support experience. Experience assessing business requirements, developing queries, analyzing data, writing functional test scripts, troubleshooting system defects, and conducting testing. Candidate must possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and good communications. The position entails the following specific job related responsibilities: The candidate must assess how to functionally implement new or changing business requirements within the PeopleSoft application. Develop test plans, test scripts and execute tests to support system patches and updates; major system upgrades/enhancements and defect resolution. Analyze Benefits; research and document system configuration and behavior; test corrective actions and validate corrections moved to production. Coordinate testing with external venders to ensure accurate enrollment and eligibility data is transmitted and processed. Create and customize queries for the business users based on their needs. Help core users understand how the system works and assists with resolving operational issues. Provide guidance to technical team with design solutions for application modifications, interfaces and reports Experience with PeopleSoft Tools is plus items include: People Tools, Application Engine, PeopleSoft Workflow, Security and Online Query and SQL plus Tools. Candidate must have excellent organization and communications skills (both oral and written). Ability to develop well-written system documentation (functional specs) as well as interpret and begin design based on functional specs written by others. Complete challenging assignments with changing priorities while still meeting deadlines. Ability to work independently as well as with a large team. Strong inter-personnel skills that requires significant interaction with peers and customers (internal users). Additional Skills (Skills that are a plus, but not required) PeopleSoft HCM functional knowledge in Work Force Admin, Benefits Admin, Time&Labor, Payroll modules along with manager self serve and employee self service. Assignment This is a PeopleSoft Functional Analyst/Tester assignment - no code development work involved. Candidate will be part of the functional team that will support the PeopleSoft 9.2 HCM upgrade project. |
