Job Title: LeadWebLogic Architect

Location: Atlanta, GA

Duration: 12+ Months

 

Projects:JBOSS to WebLogic Migration & .NET migration
 
Roles & Responsibilities:

 

• Experience utilizing Java J2EE Enterprise Architect to design, implement, and deploy scalable fault tolerant applications on WebLogic Platform (10.x,11.x or above[12c])
• Experience developing a Web Logic Architecture Document.
• Experience developing design patterns for clustered high availability applications/reusable & scalable objects/optimized data retrieval and storage/efficient code and non-blocking multi-threaded applications.
• Experience providing Web Service design using Representational State Transfer (REST) and Simple Object Access Protocol (SOAP).
• Experience designing and deploying efficient Hibernate design Patterns.
• Experience Implementing and deploying Spring Design Patterns.
• Experience developing with in Eclipse Development Environment.
• Experience providing capability to enable team use of Version Control Systems.
• Experience streamlining Automated Build, Test, and Deploy environments.
• Experience developing Regression Testing best practices and provide Regression Test reports.
• Experience performing Audit Java Security, Authentication, and Authorization of application.
• Experience auditing Java performance a tuning of existing applications
• Experience providing WebLogic Platform diagnostic and troubleshooting ability.
• Experience identifying existing issues and pro-actively recommend solutions for upcoming issues.
• Experience performing Networking configuration for Cisco hardware load balancing
• Experience optimizing Hardware Load Balancing when integrated with WebLogic Software clustering and load balancing.
• Experience ensuring IP Routing tables and the implications of high bandwidth network traffic generation from back end systems.
• Experience providing subject matter expertise through a detailed knowledge of Java, UNIX/LINUX environment from a system administration and development point of view and may be in form of knowledge transfer or more formal training.
• Experience optimizing operating system for high performance multi-threaded applications that require high CPU and network usage and shall diagnose and triage issues with such systems in a VA environment.
• Experience in setting up a Weblogic Farm for an Enterprise with n-tier web architecture. Installing and configuring Servers on distributed platforms along with setting up Backup and disaster recovery
• Experience in setting up Webserver and application server security.

 

Knowledge and skills needed:

 

• Good understanding of J2EE technologies

·        Ability to balance multiple projects andpriorities

• Innovative, independent, self-motivated, and able to work under tight deadlines
• Strong problem solving, troubleshooting, planning, and organizational skills
• Hands-on lead capable of executing strongly both as an individual contributor and a team lead

• Proven sense of high accountability and self-drive to take on and see through challenges

 

Skills Preferred:
 
· Good knowledge with JBOSS server
· Certification with WebLogic (10.x, 11.x or above [12c]) experience
· Unix shell scripting
 
Qualifications:

• B.S. degree in Information Technology or other technical discipline
• Minimum 5 years of WebLogic Architect/Lead Experience
