Job Summary :

q  Extensiveexperience as a senior data analyst with an expertise in the health careanalytics, including managed care environment, epidemiology, health outcomeresearch and government programs care settings

q  Extensiveexperience in researching and investigating key business problems throughquantitative analyses of utilization and healthcare costs data

q  Strongclient orientation through assessment, interpretation and analysis of clientneeds bringing tasks to closure in quick turnaround time

q  Anindependent worker, works with minimal guidance with a strong ability to managemultiple tasks

q  Teamplayer with strong analytical and complex problem-solving skills

 

Basic Qualifications :

q  GoodSQL knowledge to develop & maintain healthcare metrics

q  Manipulatedata extracted from large healthcare data sets and integrate disparateinformation – e.g. EDI X12, 837/835/278, Common claims format, etc.

q  Statisticaldata analysis, data trending  and predictive modelling

q  SQLand reporting tools: TSQL, Advanced MS Access, MS Excel, SPSS, CCMS, CRMS, QSI,Bus. Objects

 

Preferred Experience :

q  Builddatabases and run advanced and complex analyses in relational databases.

q  Writeand present reports and scientific papers including graphical presentations

q  Developedhealth care measures based on national specification systems (NCQA HEDIS, CMSQMs, AHRQ PQI) as well as in-house metrics. 

q  Implementeddata driven monitoring and evaluation systems in different operational systemsincluding: Clinical QI, Medical Management, UM, Pharmacy, Contracts, ProviderNetwork and Finance. 

q  Produced reports for business partners in multiple States and different business lines(Commercial, Medicaid, CHIP, Foster Care, ABD, Medicare, ACO) 

q  Developed, analyzed  and monitored new, routine and ad hoc reports and provided analytical support and expertise when compiling and reporting information

q  Evaluatedand presented information in a manner that facilitated understanding of resultsand impact 

q  Maintaineda high client satisfaction with quality and timeliness of projects

q  Automatedroutine jobs to allow increased efficiency
