Job Title: .Net Lead

Location:Wethersfield, CT – In-person Interview

Duration: 6 Months

 

Job Description:

 

·                    Develop enterprise level software

·                    Providing guidance and training to lessexperienced developers

·                    Interact and give direction to a vendor onapplication development and standards required

·                    Work independently to develop ASP .Netapplications

·                    Develop using Microsoft Visual Studio 2008-2012

·                    Develop object oriented specialty frameworks

·                    Code applications & reports using varioustechnology and tools – including MVC, ASP.Net, VB.NET, C#, XML, SSRS, and SSIS.

·                    Work with Windows Communication Foundation (WCF)framework; ASP MVC Razor and WinForms

·                    Create of stored procedures for accessing SQLServer 2012 databases.

·                    Write clear and concise technical implementationdocumentation and comment developed code accordingly.

·                    Transfer knowledge both informally and at designand code review meetings.

·                    Write periodic status reports.

 

Experience andSkills:

 

·                    Strong experience in enterprise level or higherdevelopment activities

·                    Extensive knowledge of creating standardsthroughout an enterprise system

·                    Minimum of eight (8) years of experiencedeveloping applications using both VB.net and ASP.net

·                    Knowledge of software design patterns, includingMVC, MVP and MVVM, as well as Win Forms and C#

·                    Experience using Team Foundation Server sourcecode repository

·                    Knowledge of Microsoft .NET Enterprise Library

·                    Experience developing Web Services

·                    Minimum nine (8) years' experience developmentcoding applications using SQL Server

·                    Minimum five (5) years' experience working,giving guidance and training to less experienced developers on a softwareproject comprised of multiple programmers in a team environment

·                    Proven ability to work independently withminimal supervision

·                    Ability to work well with a team of developersand business analysts
