Required

1.  Tableau, both data analysis and visualization; report creation and generation  2.  Advanced Excel analytical functions, e.g., Pivot tables, VLookUp, Lookup, MATCH, INDEX; tabulating information using multiple criteria such as, COUNTIFs, SUMIF, AVERAGEIF; Math/Stat functions such as MEDIAN, Solver, Countblank; date and time functions; nested look-ups, macros  3.  SQL Server and/or DB2 (data access, queries)  4.  Comfort with large data sets  5.  Ability to quickly learn analytical methods/approaches unique to healthcare  6.  Strong QC skills to validate output produced

Desired:

1.     Healthcare Analytics (payor /provider)

2.     Tableau architecture (server/desktop); mobile access 

3.     Advanced analytical techniques, e.g., regression, forecasting, causal modeling, trend analysis

4.     Stored procedures, OLAP cubes  SAS, MS OLAP, MS Access 

5.     Data modeling using industry standard tools (e.g. ERWIN) 

6.     Work with minimal direction to leverage Tableau to analyze and build reports for understanding and managing medical costs 

7.     Must have superior analytical skills to explain underlying approach and rationale  9.

8.     Proactively offer suggestions for improvement 

9.     Ability to demonstrate and promote usefulness of apps created on desktops and mobile devices

 

SPECIFIC PROJECT DETAIL:

1. Specific client eligibility and claims data has been saved in DB2

     And SQL Server and should be used to create appropriate business analysis dashboard, charts, graphs, etc

2.  Some existing analytics should be reviewed to determine how they

      can be recreated for better presentation.  This should include color, graphics, and interactive elements.

3. Drill down capability must be included with a clear progression of

     Data and reporting.
