Job Description:

 

The Sr ETL developer will be responsible for designing anddeveloping ETL solutions using Informatica 9.x for interfacing between sourceapplication and the Enterprise Data Warehouse.  ETL developer will alsoconfigure and tune ETL mappings and automate ETL workflows to make it highlyoptimized. In addition, will convert PL/SQL Stored Procedures into Informaticamappings. Will address performance issues with new and existing ETL jobs. Willprovide assistance to ETL team members with issues needing technical expertiseor complex systems and/or programming knowledge.

 

Experience

 

7+ years of ETL experience (preferably Informatica)
5+ years of analyzing data models and developing ETL mappings (OLTP, Filefeeds, XML feeds, and preferably from web services)
Proven experience in enterprise data warehousing and scalable ETL environments(i.e. clustered environment preferred) using Informatica 9.x
Proven experience of Data Warehouse modeling and designing of STAR/Snowflakeschemas
Fluent in relational database concepts and flat file processing concepts
Ability to resolve complex data modeling problems by proposing and implementinglong-term solutions
Has strong presentation and collaboration skills and can communicate allaspects of the job requirements, including the creation of formal documentation
Migration experience from Informatica 8.x to Informatica 9.x platform isdesired
Champion data quality, integrity and reliability by designing and promotingbest practices and standards
Experience performance tuning ETL mappings and high volume databases
Experienced in Change Data Capture (CDC)
Preferable but not required– OBIEE applications data models (SDE/SIL)especially Siebel CRM

 

Competencies

 

Deep understanding and experience working in ETL tools(Informatica 8.6 and 9.x highly preferred)
Strong SQL, PL/SQL skills
Knowledge of 10g and 11g database
Preferable - Working functional knowledge with some combination of Siebel CRM,Finance
