Performance Engineer

Position: Performance Engineer

Location: San Ramon, CA

Duration: 12+ months

 

Summary:

§  We arelooking for an engineer to focus on Performance Analysis and execution, as partof our platform development team.

§  You willwork in a team of Software Engineers, Quality Engineers, User InteractionDesign Engineers, Software Architects, and the Product Owner team.

§  In this roleyou will:

§  Build anautomated test suite to measure product performance using HP Loadrunner andother tools Define and execute the scenarios (Load/Stress/Performance) toreflect the KPIs captured.

§  Analyze theresults of the performance scenarios Work with a 5-9 member team through theagile

 

Required Skills:

§  Bachelor'sdegree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering from an accreditedinstitute.

§  Minimum 5years of work experience with performance testing Ability to use a load-testingtool like HP LoadRunner/JMeter to simulate load on system.

§  Knowledge ofmonitoring and tuning JAVA applications Knowledge of Operating System Concepts- Linux and Windows Knowledge of Database Concepts - Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL

 

Nice to Have Skills:

§  JAVAprofiling

§  (JVM tuning)Database tuning and profiling - REQUIRED

§  Strongknowledge of a scripting language
